Zel Bowman-Laberge, AIA is a licensed Maine architect located in Rockland, Maine.
Zel is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with her professional degree in architecture.
Zel is a Trustee of the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) in Rockland where she is Chair of the Building and Facilities Committee. She also is a Director of her local municipal Transfer Station, working to encourage waste diversion.
Originally from a small township in Downeast Maine and has worked for more than a decade designing homes along the coast of Maine.
Zel believes that homes should be rooted in the tradition of the state – designed with native materials, featuring local makers and honoring the historic forms.
